Add Background Image To Cells
If you want to fancy up your spreadsheets, you can simply add a background image to a range of cells. For example:
- Open a spreadsheet file, then select a range that you want to put a border around.
- Choose Format|Sheet|Background.
- When the Sheet Background dialog box opens, Double-Click the picture file that you'd like to use, Double-Click its icon.
- If you want to use a picture as your worksheet background, make sure the picture is not too dark or busy -- you don't want to obscure the worksheet data.
Suggest using a graphics package like Paint Shop Pro to reduce the color or create gray scale that would make a better background without obscuring the spreadsheet text.
