Quickly Assign General Format
You may at times be required to work with large spreadsheets or multiple sheets. If you ever get into a position where you want to return a specified range of cells back to general format, you can by performing a quick keyboard combination as follows:
- Select the cell range that you desire to change back to general format.
- Execute a CTRL+SHIFT+~ (Tilde) and you quickly return format of cells to a general layout.
This 3-key combo will quickly return cells back to the default or general format. This may help you out some day.
