View Messages By Color
When you view a message in Outlook, you can view types of messages by color such as listing important messages in red or junk mail in blue to easily detect, read, delete, or move to a folder automatically. For example:
- Select a message, then select Tools, Organize.
- Using Colors and pick a color for that sender's messages. Finally, click Apply Color.
- Pick one color to identify junk e-mail, another color to identify messages from your boss, and yet another to identify messages sent to you only (so that you don't waste time reading messages intended for mailing lists).
- Also look at the other options such as getting a color for junk mail, etc.
The colors can help you easily pick out those messages you want to keep, move, delete, or read quickly.
