Word can align selected text quickly by keys or clicking on the alignment buttons. For an example, use these commands:
- Open a Word document, and select your desired text to align.
- Press CTRL+E to Center text.
- Press CTRL+R to align text to the right margin.
- Press CTRL+L to align text to the left margin.
You can also align text by using your toolbar icons for center, left, and right alignment buttons. If you do not have these buttons, then select Tools, Customize, and select the Format commands by either clicking on the toolbar or dragging the command to the existing toolbar.
