Accessing The Start Button Via The Keyboard
If your mouse decides to go south for the winter, or temporary is not functional, you can still access the Start button two different ways and shut down your PC, restart, or whatever you want to do. The two ways are:
First Step: Install the Accessibility Options. For this step you will need the Windows 98 CD disc. Follow these instructions:
- For Windows keyboard users: Strike the Window Key.
- For older type keyboards or ones that do not have the Window keys: Use the CTRL+ESC keys to put up the Start menu.
This method works for all Windows 9x and Windows 2000 operating systems.
Just click on the back arrow for the Home Page.
